Letter from Principal Tim Roy -Now that we’ve returned from this year’s Senior Trip, I am happy to report that everyone seemed to have a wonderful time and managed to survive our excursions to New Orleans and Cozumel, Mexico. For many, this truly was the trip of a lifetime.
I would like to thank our superintendent, Dr. Kemp, and the Webster County School Board, who allowed us the opportunity to show our students the world. What a tremendous learning and cultural experience this was for them. Finally, I would like to thank our senior parents for entrusting us to take their children on this type of trip. They put their faith in us and I believe we delivered.
While I am extremely happy for our seniors, who by the way were wonderful, I am also very pleased with the hard work and dedication that were displayed by our Senior Trip coordinators, Jamie Meurer and Michelle Wilson. Kolbi played golf, basketball and softball, and received a scholarship to Oakland City University for golf and basketball.
Male Athlete of the year: Logan Prow
Logan played basketball and baseball. Logan wiil attend Murray State University in the fall.

WCHS CommunityBased Work Transition Program
WCHS Community Based Work Transition Program has won the
Exemplary Program Award given by the American Council on
Rural Special Education(ACRES) in the Vocational Training and
Transition Category. "Job coach" was nominated by a parent and
a state staff member for this national award.
The award will be presented on Friday March 8th,
at the Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando, Fl.

Make up time
Make Up Time
Any student that has accumulated 9 or more absences (excused or unexcused)
are in "make-up time". They must serve 4 hours of make-up time for each and
every day missed starting with the 9th day absent. Make-up time is
usually offered daily and selected Mondays. You must makearrangements with
Mrs Donna Fletcher (in the Library) to schedule your make up time.

We are collecting for P.E. Equipment and for REACH awards.
